Membership

Over 14,000 people in 51 countries proudly call themselves MGSM alumni, and they are a highly connected, influential and committed group. We differ from many educational institutions in that membership of our alumni network is not limited to people who have graduated from the School. You are encouraged to start connecting from the day you enrol.

From there, you can access the latest research on management issues, and industry trends and solutions, along with exceptional talent for your organisation. We host regular networking events in Sydney, Hong Kong and from time-to-time, other international alumn events as well, while also linking you to like-minded individuals and organisations to increase your professional industry connections. Once you graduate, putting you in touch with past classmates is one way we continue to support your career and personal growth.

Providing internships or financial support, recruiting from our talented pool of graduates, speaking in our classrooms, or participating in our Mentoring Program and events, are ways you can do the same for other students.

Types of Membership

We offer two levels of MGSMAA membership:

Ordinary Membership

Completing one of the following qualifications entitles you to ordinary membership:

• Postgraduate Certificate
• Postgraduate Diploma
• Master of Arts
• Master of Management
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
• Doctor of Philosophy in Management (PhD).

Student Membership

We collect a membership fee from students at the outset of an MGSM award program, so if you are currently enrolled, you automatically hold a student-level MGSMAA membership.

This membership articulates into a financial membership when you graduate. You are encouraged to participate in alumni activities as a student member.

Membership Fees

Becoming a member of the MGSMAA incurs a one-off fee:

• Ordinary/student membership $200.
