MGSM sends funds to student and friend

MGSM are pleased to report that the school has raised $2,685 for student Luis Ugalde who was recently forced to return to his home country of Mexico to undergo surgery to remove a brain tumour.

The funds were raised through a barbecue held by fellow students and a raffle, with prizes generously donated by Peppers Guest House and Chateau Elan - two of the Hunter Valley's most prestigious resorts - and Sydney Symphony.

Luis is extremely grateful for the friendship and care his fellow students, the faculty and staff have shown through their fundraising efforts and expressions of support. His treatment is progressing well, and Luis is eager to return to his studies and friends at MGSM as soon as he can.

The school continues to wish Luis all the very best in his recovery.
