The Importance of Managing with a Global Mindset

MGSM recently delivered its new program, Managing with a Global Mindset, to Hong Kong students.

MGSM faculty member, Dr Steven Segal, was joined by guest speaker Laurence Bailey, J P Morgan's CEO APAC Worldwide Services. Mr Bailey spoke to the students for two hours regarding how important it is for today's managers to possess a global mindset, and subsequently be able to both respond to and create opportunities within organisations that have a global reach.

Mr Bailey also discussed with students his own personal journey in regards to developing a global mindset, and the impact of global mindset on organisational structure and strategy.

MGSM students commented that the course unit stimulated much discussion and engagement within the classroom, further reinforcing the success of MGSM's teaching philosophy of introducing practical learning to the classroom.
