Research Statement

Nigel Garrow has extensive experience in international business, including several acquisitions, organisational restructurings, development and implementation of business growth strategies. His research focus, currently, is mergers and acquisitions in Australia for which he is completing his PhD.

Contribution to Management Education

Nigel Garrow is very active in teaching finance related topics at MGSM, as well as supervising several internship projects for MBA students with a wide range of businesses from pharmaceuticals to e-commerce.

Contribution to Management Practice

Nigel Garrow has over 30 years Senior Management experience in the USA, Europe, Australia, Asia, Middle East and Africa, including 15 years as a Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer mainly in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) or business to business firms in the food industry. His experience includes Beecham Group, Reckitt & Colman, McCormick & Co., Spillers Petfoods, Dalgety Food Ingredients and Braes Group.

MGSM Senior Lecturer acknowledged in parliament
