Research Projects

As Australia's leading management education school, MGSM actively seeks to partner with organisations on research projects that are typically undertaken in Sydney, New South Wales, South-Eastern Australia, and Hong Kong.  Projects usually explore research areas of mutual interest to industry and academics so that knowledge about management practice increases and lessons learned disseminated to the wider business community.

MGSM is particularly interested in action research projects involving case studies where good and bad examples of management practice can be explored from a theoretical perspective and/or where management theory can be enriched through a better understanding of both successful and unsuccessful management practice.  Action research projects are often conducted as collaborative exercises with industry partners and therefore MGSM is keenly interested in discussing opportunties for joint research projects with companies, industry associations and government.

Our academics, adjuncts and doctoral students have a wide variety of interests and expertise relating to management practice issues and consequently we are able to assemble teams of highly skilled people with both industry and academic perspectives to bring to bear on contemporary research challenges.
