Careers Service

The MGSM Alumni and Careers Department works with corporate employers and recruiters from around the world to foster links with industry, promote the exceptional quality of MGSM Graduates and maximise their exposure to outstanding career opportunities.

The Careers Service is a value added service, offering a comprehensive, personalised career management & development service to MGSM Students and Alumni from our campuses in Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore.  With more than 9,500 members of the MGSM Alumni Association located in 42 countries around the world, the Careers Service offers on-going support and access to established networks in the international management arena.

All services offered to employers are FREE OF CHARGE and may be tailored to the individual needs of the organisation.

Some of the core services we currently offer include:

FREE EMPLOYMENT ADVERTISING

  • Advertising local and international employment opportunities / positions available on the MGSM website.
  • Promoting employment opportunities, internships and sponsorships directly to MGSM Students & Alumni 

RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT SERVICES

  • Working with employers to clarify application processes for MGSM Students & Alumni to apply and collating applications for specific positions
  • Recommending award winning graduates to employers
  • Identifying MGSM Students & Alumni with relevant skills &/or experience on behalf of and employer / executive search agent for specific positions.

CAMPUS RECRUITMENT PROGRAMS

Throughout the year, the Careers Service works with corporate employers to develop customised campus recruitment programs, organise visits to campus,and foster links to access MGSM’s outstanding students and graduates.

The Careers Service also delivers regular presentations and seminars throughout the year on careers related topics, as well as featuring key employers and executive recruitment agencies to offer advice on particular aspects of an industry or sector.

  • Providing access to and encouraging participation in the MGSM Mentoring Program
  • Facilitate contact with MGSM Students and Alumni from specified industries, sectors and disciplines
  • Facilitate contact with MGSM Student and Alumni Networks and Associations
