Aims of the Study
- Identify the composition of the businesses located in the 'Pacific Corridor'
- Complete initial 'cluster mapping'
- Understand the factors that have come into play in the development of this region
- Identify the current state of clustering activities and linkages
- Identify potential gaps in clustering development in this region
- In depth analysis of two targeted industry sections:
- Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) and
- Bio-medical (Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Instruments/Devices)
Research Approach

The research will consist of roughly three stages:
Stage One
- Cluster definition
- Identify industries
- Commence interviews
Stage Two
- Complete interviews
- Design Survey
Stage Three
- On-line Survey
- Analyse results
- Report
